Founder, Brett Forsythe, found his passion for pickleball in 2016 and has since competed internationally and at the open/pro level. Being a competitive athlete and high performance coach prior to starting the company, Brett quickly noticed that Pickleball was a unique sport where dedicated athletes could compete at a high level without age restrictions. This fuelled his passion to get more people active and living healthier lifestyles through movement and sport.

Poach started in 2020 in the west coast of Canada. It was created to make pickleball a more accessible sport for all individuals while still offering them high performance equipment.
