GAMMA SPORTS was created in the 1970s by Dr. Harry Ferrari, a nuclear engineer and avid tennis player. He was determined to develop a more reliable tennis string, giving players greater power, feel and control.

In 2014, GAMMA decided to enter the world of pickleball. GAMMA’s advanced knowledge of composites, plastics, and manufacturing techniques, enables it to create pickleball paddles with materials and methods that few can match.

Riley Newman (pictured) is a GAMMA sponsored professional player and plays with his signature 206 paddle. Riley was introduced to pickleball in 2017 and entered into his first 5.0 tournament with his sister, Lindsey Newman (also a pro), taking gold in the mixed doubles. Riley is currently ranked No. 2 in the world for Men's and Mixed doubles.
