Pickleball People | Session Terms & Conditions
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for participants and spectators, please read and adhere to the following terms and conditions. By participating in any activities provided by Pickleball People, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your place on a session, please take your name off the relevant session within 24 hours of the session start time. You will then receive a refund, excluding the transaction fee. If you do not give 24 hours’ notice, you will forfeit your refund.
You cannot transfer your place on a session with a friend, partner, spouse, etc. as this is unfair to people on the waitlist.
Pickleball People reserve the right to cancel a session. If this happens, you will receive a full refund. Registered participants will be informed about the cancellation via Spond, email or text message.
Pickleball People reserve the right to move a session to a different venue. If this happens, registered participants will be informed via Spond, email or text message. At this point, these Terms and Conditions still apply.
Wait List
If a session is full and a space becomes available, an invitation will be sent to the first person on the wait list. If that person declines the invite, then an invitation will be sent to the next person, and so on. When an invitation is sent out to a person on the wait list, they have 12 hours to respond, otherwise the invitation is rescinded, and an invitation is sent out to the next person on the wait list.
We advise you NOT to turn off your push notifications, otherwise you will only receive invitations via email.
Assumption of Risk
Playing pickleball involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other losses. By participating in any activities provided by Pickleball People, you acknowledge and agree that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk.
Please take care of your belongings and do not leave valuables unattended. Most of our venues provide lockers for public use.
Waiver of Liability
